Maureen Imperial received her hypnosis training from the National Guild of Hypnotists. She did her practical experience at Farmingdale University and received her board certification from the N.G. H.
She is an adjunct faculty member of the guild, conducting workshops and seminars to increase the knowledge of other hypnotists. Maureen has had her work published in an international Hypnotism publication. She is a member of the American Hypnosis Association, and Imagery International.
In 2007 Maureen became a Neurolinguistic Practitioner; and has practiced and taught meditation classes for over twenty years. Maureen conducts classes at Smithtown Acupuncture, as well as throughout the Northeast. Maureen provides traditional hypnosis sessions as well as meridian hypnosis which combines hypnosis and acupuncture in one session. At Smithtown Acupuncture Maureen feels that she has had the opportunity to expand the practice of hypnosis to help so many individuals.
